The ability to see, review and fix annotations from a single source.
How would this functionality help you?
Currently, a user has to open each individual encounter record to see if the animals have been annotated correctly and completely. Adding annotations manually when an issue is found during the review of match results is a tangent in the workflow and leads to frustration in the way that it slows down that match review process.
Users have told us that it would be useful to be able to filter to a latest bulk import batch and review all images via the Gallery function currently in Wildbook however, the current gallery doesn’t display images systematically (see report: Best way to correct annotations in a full dataset - #8 by jason) making it not particularly useful for the above purpose.
@jason agreed and suggested that I re-submit this as a feature request.
Having this functionality would reduce frustration by users when they find missing or incorrect annotations in the midst of a match results review process and also give then the ability to more easily and systematically correct all annotation issues in a single workflow process.
