Automatic switch from unidentifiable to approved when ID gets assigned to that encounter
How would this functionality help you?
Currently, unidentifiable is is being used to filter to only the remaining un-assigned, and deemed un-matchable, encounters in large batches of raw species imagery. Occasionally, the researcher is able to deduce an ID for a previously un-matched and deemed unidentifiable individual.
When this happens, the researcher needs to check every encounter that gets matched to see if it is in workflow state āunidentifiableā and, if it is, then open the metadata edit function and change the state to approved - in every new match case since the unidentifiable state started getting used because thereās no way for the user to know what the workflow state is for any encounter without checking.
It would save time and improve the usefulness of the unidentifiable state.
