Bug cannot merge individuals

Seems to only be this particular merge - I have successfully merged many others, but this particular individual is proving impossible to merge:

Merge [GNS-1116] with [R1079] and make them GNS-1116 please.

Thanks for your patience. It looks like the merge is finished. Unless you happened to manually move the encounters over, I suspect that the backend was working very slowly to complete the merge. Let me know if you see this happen again.
