Bulk import detection at 0% but identification at 100%

If this is a bulk import report, send the spreadsheet to services@wildme.org with the email subject line matching your bug report

In which Wildbook did the issue occur? Flukebook

What operating system were you using? MacOS 14.8.1

What web browser were you using? Chrome

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc)

What happened? I have two different bulk imports, both of which are stuck at 0% detection but for which identification is complete. When I try to double-check the detections to make sure all the dorsal fins or flukes are correctly detected the status of the picture says “Still waiting for detection. Refresh to see updates.

The problem is the following two bulk imports: https://www.flukebook.org/react/bulk-import-task?id=035bd38e-43db-4fa1-aff1-54b43f69d036, with the spreadsheet excel_bulk_import_7_3_2025_Sa and https://www.flukebook.org/react/bulk-import-task?id=41d001af-3773-4ae0-839b-f9897dcf4f2f, with the spreadsheet excel_bulk_import_7_2025_Pm.

I will email these spreadsheets to services@wildme.org

What did you expect to happen? For detection to be complete before identification starts.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

Hi @Anne

Thanks for sending your spreadsheets!

This is an odd one! I’ve re-sent these imports to detection. Let me know if you still have issues with incomplete identification afterward. The queue seems busy today, so it may take a little while for the jobs to complete.

Thank you so much - that worked for both of them!
