In which Wildbook did the issue occur? Internet of Turtles

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3) MacOS

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79) Chrome

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc) researcher

What happened? I submitted a bulk upload and only 1/2 of the files were uploaded. I tried to add more files and no action was taken by the system. I was able to add one more file, but since then I haven’t been able to add any additional files.

Update: it looks like it’s failing on all files > 3 MB, I confirmed this behavior - I saved the images at 80% quality which reduced the size and they have all been uploaded.

What did you expect to happen?

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

I will send a couple of the jpg files that failed as samples

Thanks for the update! That sounds like it tracks based on the image size guidelines in the docs and contextual help. I heard similar feedback from someone on another Wildbook, so I’ll look into seeing if we can get Wildbook to warn users if image files are too large. I’ll need to take some time to test and write up a ticket for it. I’ll likely follow up with that tomorrow.
