In which Wildbook did the issue occur? SeadragonSearch

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3) MacOS 11.7.7

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79) 114

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc) admin

What happened? the metadata displayed at the top of an image for the query animal and the possible matches are identical

What did you expect to happen? each image should have unique metadata

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue? have a look at any unapproved matches sitting in our platform, or the screen shot provided

Just to clarify, are you just referring to the date next to the image names or is there additional data that looks wrong?

Hi @Anastasia, I think so- there are only two dates in the screen shot. Identical, even though the images were not taken on the same date… thanks

I’ll need more time to figure out what’s happening here. In one example, I thought it was just replicating the sighting date for the encounter we’re matching, but in other examples I checked, the date didn’t seem to correspond to the original encounter sighting or the potential matches.

We should have a fix for this bug soon. Thanks for flagging it!
