Created date incorrect

In which Wildbook did the issue occur? Sharkbook.ai (seahorses)

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3)

Issue is on both Mac and Windows.

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc)

What happened?

When I submit an encounter, i have noticed that the Created Date/Time (submitted date) is not correct, as the time is not reflecting the correct time. eg Enconter Id 17e6772d-bea4-4d21-a7e2-28e3673efd5c, this was submitted at 21:00 AEST but the time is showing 11:00.

The field for last edit date appears correctly.

What did you expect to happen? The time would appear correctly like the last edit date.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

Upload an encounter and then compare the dates for the last edit date and the created dates.

@jason Does this sound related to the time zone thing we ran into a while back?

@Anastasia Yes, same issues, and the fix was deployed to all affected platforms 5 days ago. Are these on new submissions since then?

It does look like something’s off about the Date Created field. Here’s my example encounter from today: https://www.sharkbook.ai/react/encounter?number=d69c464e-ee63-4ed3-8524-3749150858b1

The Last Edit time correctly shows the submission time in my local time as 4:21 PM, but the Date Created shows the time as 11:21 PM

BTW: Regarding the other fix, do I need to go back and manually fix the encounter dates? there are aren’t too many that are still showing an incorrect date.

The Last Edited And Date Created fields can’t be edited. If you’re seeing incorrect Encounter Dates in the Date section of the page, you can edit those if they are incorrect.
