What happened/did you expect to happen?

It seems that the matching page won’t save any of the matches I try to confirm. If I go to my project page, and click on “match results” for an encounter, it opens up all the unmatched fins in the project – which is fine, but new, it used to only open the one I selected – and then when I go to click “set individual to WC-###” after finding a match, the only option it gives me is “confirm no match”.

Let me know if that makes sense. Here is the link to the match results page: https://www.flukebook.org/iaResults.jsp?taskId=253f83ef-86f7-4231-b200-4506cf585856&projectIdPrefix=WC-%23%23%23

Let me know if you have any insight into this issue. Thank you!

Hi, @lmcpherson !
The link that you sent is indeed very strange. We suspect that the “TaskID” being used in that URL is the “grandfather” of the taskID that’s supposed to be in the URL.
I checked some of the encounters in the recent MMRP bulk import (assuming that this was you), and I navigated to the match/IA results page from those encounters with the correct taskID.

In other words, I am able to reproduce your issue but not the path that you took to arrive at the issue. How did you get the above link?

Many thanks for working with us on this!

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your help. TO produce this page, I went to “view my projects”, then “Waianae Coast Catalog” and scrolled down to where the new encounters were. This is where I usually go to match the new fins to my catalog. When I click on “match results” for any of the new encounters, it takes me to the page with that link.

Thanks,

Liah
