Scotian Shelf as a location option under Atlantic Ocean (North)
How would this functionality help you?
We are getting ready to upload pilot whale encounters from the Scotian Shelf - these pilots were not seen within the Gully MPA (which is the only similar option I see listed). This location would also be beneficial for other cetacean work done along the Scotian Shelf, including the northern bottlenose whale work (as data are collected outside of the Gully MPA sometimes).
We’re heading back out for bottlenose whale work this year and it will be nice to have a Scotian Shelf pilot whale catalogue built to compare to once we are back.
