"freehand" bounding of animals instead of boxes

What Wildbook should this feature be in? ACW / All?

What would you like to see? Instead of bounding boxes for annotations, have the ability to draw a line around the contours of the animal’s body

How would this functionality help you? With social species as well as with camera trap images, it would help reduce confusing match results like the one below as well as background matching, particularly in camera trap images

I understand why this seems valuable, but from a technical standpoint, this isn’t feasible as this would undermine what a viewpoint is. We can think on ways to improve recognition of distinction between multiple animals in an image.
