What would you like to see?
Implement the ability to run matching from a Sighting (Occurrence) (i.e. - all eligible encounters in a Sighting run through ID.)
How would this functionality help you?
When large bulk uploads are run, if the researcher has limited time to do matching on the results, they are usually forced into rerunning ID later on as match results “expire” This means wasted processing and large backups in the queue for ID. Instead, I would propose modifying their workflow to run matching at a Sighting level on a more 'just-in-time" basis, allowing for processing and curation at a higher frequency.
