IoT - Behaviour not retained on Encounter Submission

In which Wildbook did the issue occur?
Internet of Turtles

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3)
Various, MacOS & Windows

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79)
Chrome (123.0.6312.124)

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc)
orgAdmin & researcher roles (issue appears for all ORP accounts)

What happened?
When reporting an encounter and selecting a behaviour from the “Observed Behaviour” drop down menu, that selection is not reflected in the encounter once the upload is finished. It resets to no behaviour recorded and can only be saved when set in an already created encounter.

What did you expect to happen?
All input set during the encounter report to be saved.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?
Create a new encounter and select a behaviour from the drop down menu.

Thanks in advance for the help!
Best,
Steph

Thanks for the heads up! I’ve done some testing and I’ve been able to reproduce it, too. I’m going to write up a ticket for this and follow up here with a link when it’s ready.

I didn’t realize this issue was previously reported. Here is the updated ticket link where the work will be tracked: IoT and SeadragonSearch - selecting a behavior from the encounter submit page does not persist a behavior · Issue #263 · WildMeOrg/Wildbook · GitHub
