IoT uploads not retaining sampling protocol for size

Hi!

In which Wildbook did the issue occur?

Internet of Turtles

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3)

macOS Tahoe Version 26.3

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79)

Google Chrome Version 146.0.7680.155

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc)

What happened?

Using the classic encounter upload interface, when selecting “estimated” from the Advanced Information → Measurements, it changes the sampling protocol back to “directly measured” when the uploaded encounter is checked.

What did you expect to happen?

Retain the selected sampling protocol from the drop down menu.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

Create a new encounter and change the sampling protocol, check if it is retained on the uploaded encounter.
