Is detection available for Ziphius cavirostris?

Hello, me again, is there an algorithm for Ziphius cavirostris (Cuvier’s beaked whale)? My encounter is stuck in detection for that one.

Thanks

It doesn’t look like it. A quick way to verify is to add a manual annotation. If there are no options in a iaClass drop-down menu after you’ve selected your viewpoint, then detection hasn’t been configured for that species yet.

Can you let us know how you typically identify Ziphius cavirostris? Is it by the dorsal fin?

Hi! Yes I can’t choose the annotation… We normally use dorsal fin for that species as well
Thanks!

I’ve moved this to its own topic so it’s easier to track. I’ll need more time to look into if we’re able to add detection for this right away. If not, I’ll change this to a feature request. Thanks!
