We’ve made MiewID available in GiraffeSpotter this week!
We’ve only tested it on reticulated giraffes, but have made it available for researchers of other species to try out as well. You should see MiewID results load much faster compared to Hotspotter.
Here are the statistics on the reticulated giraffes we tested with:
Mean-average Precision (mAP): 84%
Top-1 ID prediction accuracy: 81%
Top-10 ID prediction accuracy: 91%
