GiraffeSpotter is not giving me good matches. I know this giraffe is LG-0006M, but it doesn’t give me that match, why?

I re-ran this match with MiewID selected to see if we get better match results. There were more match candidates, but LG-0006M isn’t one of them: Wildbook for Giraffe
I looked at another photo of LG-0006M that wasn’t as obscured by trees and re-ran that match through MiewID to see if he turned up there and he was the top result:
I suspect that in the first encounter, the tree branches and tree trunk obscuring him made it harder for both algorithms to confidently find a match.
