One or more query images not shown on match page

If this is a bulk import report, send the spreadsheet to services@wildme.org with the email subject line matching your bug report

In which Wildbook did the issue occur? SeadragonSearch

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3) MacOS 15.2

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79) Chrome 141

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc) admin

What happened? When I go to the potential match page the query image no longer shows, although the potential match images can still be clicked through. This used to happen rarely but has ramped up lately. I have to rerun the match to then make the query image visible again.

What did you expect to happen? Both query and possible match images to be shown on the page

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue? Check out body matches in encounters such as:

SeadragonSearch.org. (just 1 side missing)

sorry I just realised I’ve gone and processed these. I’ll try to find more to add here instead, sorry!

Can you let me know if you happen to see the missing query image from head or body annotations? I did see that in on of your original examples, that the body annotation for this match is affected: https://wildbook.seadragonsearch.org/iaResults.jsp?taskId=fea0661c-4558-4d66-805c-8ea5fa58b95d

In the meantime, additional examples would be great. For context, you can post the direct links to the match pages with the missing query image. Each match attempt has its own unique task ID and URL. Send us the link to those original questionable results then you can go ahead and re-run that match to continue your ID work. We’ll still have the original URL to research with without interrupting your workflow.
