Others to inform does not work

In which Wildbook did the issue occur? Whale Shark Wildbook

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3) MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79) Chrome

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc) admin/researcher

What happened? If I file out „Others to inform“ on the submit page it does not take it to the database/ does not save it. I have to add afterwards after I logged in.

What did you expect to happen? That it does save it.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

Just double checking:

Did you include email addresses with the Others to Inform? Currently we only persist a name for this field if an email address is included.

Hi Jason, yes I wrote three email addresses in the field with a comma in between.

I have confirmed the issue and filed this as ticket WB-1179. We’ll follow up here.
