What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3) WIn 10
What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79) Chrome
What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc) Admin
What happened?
Deleted a project (see support request) and when I went to recreate the Project and restart the numbering sequence ###4 it appeared that system forces restart at 0000
What did you expect to happen?
Numbering to start at the number in the hash list ###4
What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?
Try to start a Project numbering sequence
@PaulK!
So the #s after the project increment ID prefix simply designate how many numerical orders of magnitude the user might want to eventually increment in their project (i.e., # represents 0-9, while ## represents 0-99, and ### represents 0-999).
It looks like anything to the right of the #s will just be counted as additional orders of magnitude.
As far as I know, there’s no way to set a brand new project up to start numbering at an arbitrary number.
