What did you expect to happen?
Public can see the encounter tables to see where the manta individual have been sighted

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?
Have the public / non-Wild me users able to see the encounter table again

Thanks!

Hi @argeswaraj

It looks like with the MantaMatcher upgrade, more stringent security features were applied for silo security that don’t play nicely with citizen science submissions. I’ll write a ticket for this soon and link it here when it’s ready.

Here’s the ticket link: Carousel images on Individual pages don’t display when a user is logged out · Issue #1112 · WildMeOrg/Wildbook · GitHub

Thanks Anatasia!

Hi @Anastasia , I just wanted to let you know that this is also happening for Internet of Turtles, but the other way around…

When someone is logged out, they can see the picture (but obviously cannot annotate). But when they are logged in, the picture disappears.

This is the details of their account:

Thank you!

Hi @argeswaraj

I unlisted this topic so it’s only visible to you and staff as a security measure. We don’t want anyone’s email address or Wildbook login details visible as this forum’s posts are visible to people who aren’t signed into it.

Is it just the UNUD account that can’t see encounter images when signed in? I’m not able to replicate it on my side. It would help to have the direct link to the encounter in question since the screenshots don’t give me enough information to start looking into this more closely.
