Somehow block out the brand name of the cam type in the image without removing any element of the animal in the photo
How would this functionality help you? There are A LOT of cam trap projects in Africa and so our dataset in ACW will increasingly include cam trap images. With this particular brand (Cuddeback Digital), they stamp the cam brand logo onto the images. In matching, it’s skewing the match results, per the example above.
So excluding this element of the image would greatly improve match results and reduce these false positives.
