The latest Wildbook upgrade to 10.10.2 created an unexpected bug that did not affect other, smaller Wildbooks that resulted in match results not returning any match candidates.
In short, the large number of annotations in Sharkbook caused indexing to time out. If annotations aren’t indexed, they can’t be retrieved when queried for identification. This wasn’t caught in our QA testing because none of our test environments have the volume of data that our live, production Wildbooks do.
We have what we believe is a fix and hope to have an update later today on its progress.
