Hi!

In which Wildbook did the issue occur?

Internet of Turtles

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3)

Windows 11 Pro

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79)

Chrome 146

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc)

Researcher (ORP-Pakistan)

What happened?

When searching for encounters from “Pakistan”, the search results display shows no ID for the encounters, even though the encounters have been identified.

This does not occur when the search is completed from another account (ORP, orgAdmin, MacOS Tahoe 26.3.1, Chrome 145), then IDs are correctly displayed in the search. When viewing individual encounters, the edits and assigned IDs are visible for the researcher account.

Both accounts are collaborateurs with edit permissions, with the ORP account being the managing researcher assigned.

What did you expect to happen?

Fully processed encounters to display assigned IDs and sighting IDs.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

Maybe searches from different accounts result in different displays? No idea.

Hi @ORP-StephanieK

I need more time to work on this. If it weren’t for the location-based roles, I’d suggest a collaboration between ORP-Pakistan and ORP (who owns the encounters in this search). But OPR-Pakistan does have the Pakistan location role, so those should be visible to the user. I hope to have an update by tomorrow.
