Sharkbook - Bulk Upload does not create annotations

Within Sharkbook, I have noticed that when I add an encounter directly (one by one) in the classic “report encounter” feature, the system is very fast at automating the annotation.

However, when I use the bulk upload feature, the encounters can be stuck for days and do not get the annotations added, which then requires me to manually attach to each image.

Can you please look into this? Thanks!

Manual uploads processing faster than bulk imports is by design. However, it shouldn’t take days for detection on any bulk import to complete. Can you link to one or more of the bulk imports that you’re having trouble with so I can take a look?

Hi Anastasia

I am about to do a bulk upload now with approx 138 shark images so you can follow this example: https://www.sharkbook.ai/import.jsp?taskId=9c254f44-b0d8-4eb8-aa5b-089bc6a76849

Would be very good if this bug is resolved

Sarah

Thanks! It looks like this one is still processing the media assets. I’ll keep an eye on this one today and tomorrow and see if there’s any lagging occurring.

Just checking in today to let you know this bulk import completed detection. Are you seeing other bulk imports take longer than expected to complete detection? Otherwise, it’s possible that whatever caused the delay before has since been resolved.
