Within sharkbook, is there a way that you add more search fields into the filters?

Within an encounter you can add information about the “Noticeable scarring” within the “Attributes” section of the encounter. But when you search encounters, you cannot filter any searches with the field of “Noticeable scarring”.

Can this be added?

It’s hard to say whether this is currently being impacted by the search indexing waiting to catch up in the wake of the server upgrade or whether it needs to be added as a feature, but I’ll be able to verify once I get word back that indexing in Sharkbook is complete.
