Text while spot mapping on Sharkbook

What Wildbook should this feature be in? Sharkbook (or anything with spot mapping)

What would you like to see? When spot mapping the left side of an animal, the text for 5th gill top, 5th gill bottom sits over the part of the shark you’re trying to map (not so much an issue with posterior pectoral as it’s below most the spots). As it sits to the left of the spot you place, this isn’t an issue when mapping the right side of an animal. Could the text go on the right side of these points when mapping the left side of an animal? See screenshots below for reference:

Right side mapping with the text on the left and out of the way:

How would this functionality help you? This is something that isn’t a major issue, but it can be a little annoying. It would allow us to more accurately spot map without the text in the way.

Hi @AFlam

We’re beginning to review our backlog of feature requests that may have been missed before, so I apologize for the long wait.

As a workaround, even though it asks you to place a marker on the first dorsal, I recommend placing your spots first. This is helpful for when the text from the other markers happen to overlap your spots.
