What would you like to see?
I would like there to be a way to quickly determine how many unique occurrences/sightings a marked individual seal has been seen at. Currently we can find a similar value for encounters, but not for sightings. I talk about this need for our research in this previous post.

How would this functionality help you?
This would allow us to quickly determine how many observations/sightings we have seen our marked individual seals at over the years. This will help us calculate their site fidelity which is our main goal.

We can implement a sighting count on the marked individual page in the meantime. Here’s the ticket link for that: Count of sightings on individual page · Issue #834 · WildMeOrg/Wildbook · GitHub

There is a longer-term goal to incorporate surveys into Wildbook that could address some of the other needs you brought up, but the ticket should address the immediate need for an overall sighting count.
