User name was changed, but privileges for access to encounters still linked to old user name

What is the entire URL out of the browser, exactly where the error occurred?

Can you describe what the issue is you’re experiencing?
I am going in to look at a specific encounter, but it says that I have to request privileges from my old user name (offshoreorca) which doesn’t exist now.

Can you provide steps on how to reproduce what you’re experiencing?
I clicked on my bulk imports, then chose the first of the nine encounters uploaded as a bulk upload half an hour ago. It won’t let me access them despite the fact that I uploaded them and says that used offshoreorca (which no longer exists) has to grant me privileges and that I have to submit a request.

If this is a bulk import report, send the spreadsheet to with the email subject line matching your bug report

Based on our email thread, it sounds like the import was uploaded with the old username and not your new one. I recommend deleting this latest bulk import and re-uploading the spreadsheet with the correct username in the submitter ID field.
