What Wildbook should this feature be in? African Carnivore Wildbook

What would you like to see? In the previous version, when doing manual annotation, the viewpoint were in alphabetical order. It’s not the case anymore.

How would this functionality help you? It will help finding the viewpoint much quicker rather than shifting through randomly.

If requesting a new location ID, include

  • Is this is nested beneath another location in the hierarchy?
  • Is there a prefix for region-based naming? (optional)
  • GPS coordinates (optional)

Note: Not all feature requests can be accepted, but all of them are reviewed by our product team. We’re unable to provide implementation timelines for accepted requests. We are a small team with many competing priorities. Thanks for your understanding!

The viewpoint list wasn’t ever in alphabetical order, but it is a reasonable request. I’ll write up a ticket and add the link here when it’s ready.

This was included as part of the Wildbook 10.5.0 update.

Hi Anastasia,

Are we supposed to see the updated version 10.5.0? I’m asking as I still don’t see the viewpoint in alphabetical order.

I was also wondering if the search bar will be added again soon or if it will be for a later update?

ACW is currently on Wildbook 10.3.0. I don’t have a current timeline for when it’ll be on the upgrade schedule.

The search bar will return soon! We’re including it with Wildbook 10.6.0 when it’s released.
