What is the entire URL out of the browser, exactly where the error occurred? Wildbook

Can you describe what the issue is you’re experiencing? When comparing a left side ID, it is matching against majority rights.

Can you provide steps on how to reproduce what you’re experiencing?

Hi @drobinson For some species, viewpoint matching is more flexible and allows rights and lefts to be compared with each other. I’m not sure if it was configured like this for whale sharks, so let’s see what Jason has to say.

@jason Is whale shark matching left/right agnostic?

Hi Anastasia and @jason ,

This was for leopard sharks and I can’t imagine a scenario where I would want to match a left to a right image. Would it be possible with leopards (if whale shark people want that for some reason?) to only match lefts to left and rights to right?

Thanks for your patience! There was an update to Sharkbook in between now and when this encounter was matched on July 1st, so we ran the match again on the first image and see all left-side candidates now.
