What Wildbook should this feature be in? GiraffeSpotter

What would you like to see? We work with a lot of conservancy partners and it would be nice if we could collaborate on bulk imports somehow. As of now, I think we would need to share login information or have admin privileges to view others bulk imports. Is that correct? We have had requests from teams that want to collaborate and work together on the process but as of now that is a bit difficult.

How would this functionality help you? For large surveys, allowing multiple users to help would speed up the process instead of having to rely on a single user/user account.

If requesting a new location ID, include

  • Is this is nested beneath another location in the hierarchy?
  • Is there a prefix for region-based naming? (optional)
  • GPS coordinates in decimal format (optional)

Hi @jenna

Yes, admins can view anybody’s bulk imports, but if you and another user have a view collaboration with each other, you can also view each others’ bulk imports in the bulk import logs. This way you don’t have to risk giving admin access to users when creating a collaboration will serve the same goal.
