Can you describe what the issue is you’re experiencing?
When trying to access encounters with two researchers (usernames: gbobo and llee) who has left our program, a pop up occurs saying “Access to this resource is limited” and prompts me to submit a collaboration invitation. The OrgAdmin of Snail Wildbook already revoked gbobo’s edit access, but the issue still occurs. I cannot view any of the former researchers’ bulk imports either. Does the OrgAdmin need to reassign/remove the former researchers’s roles for new researchers to access their encounters?
Can you provide steps on how to reproduce what you’re experiencing?
Went to “My Individuals” page and tried to access encounters made by former researchers with the usernames “gbobo” and “llee”. These were individuals: “001_achmus_makw_2023” and “02_achcon_pah_2021”
It doesn’t look like your organization is set up in Wildbook yet. I can take care of that set you as the org admin if you’re currently the primary manager of your team’s data. Does that work for you?
Sorry for the confusion, Bethany just started with us and cannot access our previous interns’ encounters. Kūpaʻa is still the org admin of our Snail Wildbook.
Please let me know if there is another way to get Bethany’s account to access our previous interns’ encounters, as they cannot approve collaboration requests since they do not work with us anymore. Let me know if you need more information.
So while I see that Kūpaʻa has the org admin role, the organization itself isn’t actually set up in Snail Wildbook yet, so I’m not sure that the org admin role is actually functional when the user that has it doesn’t have an org assigned. Step 1 is I get that done. Potential step 2 is Bethany also gets the org admin role so she can view the team’s data without needing the former inters to accept a collaboration request.
Ohh okay thanks for the information! We did not realize that. That would be great if our organization could get setup in Snail Wildbook. Kūpaʻa will assign her as org admin role once that’s done. Thanks so much for your help!
Ok, all your members past and present should be under the same org now. Note that anyone with the org admin role can create new accounts for your org members. Here’s the overview on all org admin features: Org admin — Wildbook documentation
