Encounters stuck in detection for several days/matches not completing

Can you describe what the issue is you’re experiencing?

Automatic detection/annotation has not completed for any encounters submitted since March 20th. There are ten encounters, all submitted individually

Annotations can be added manually, but starting a new match using these annotations does not work (just says “waiting for results”). Annotations added manually to previous encounters where detection/matching was successful also don’t give results

Can you provide steps on how to reproduce what you’re experiencing?

  1. Submit a new encounter
  2. Manually add annotations
  3. Manually start a new match

Thanks for letting us know. We’re investigating an issue with the image analysis pipeline in multiple Wildbooks. I’ll share an update as soon as I have news.

Hi @Patrick

The bug has been fixed. I checked up on your uploads since March 20 and the ones that have annotations all have working match results now. The ones that didn’t complete detection will need manual annotations drawn for them, but you’ll get match results back from those attempts now. Thanks for your patience and I apologize for the churn.
