Errors in GPS coordinates

Hello, I made an error in the GPS coordinates for a large bulk import that I split into multiple parts on Flukebook. It concerns the bulk imports “TtExpe202352” and “TtExpe202353,” which I can see on the map are much farther offshore than my actual coordinates. For the bulk imports “TtExpe202351,” “TtExpe202354,” and “TtExpe202355,” I’m unsure if the coordinates are correct because I can’t view the map in Flukebook. I would really like to transfer the bulk imports to you in xls format, but I no longer have them due to a hard drive crash. Do you have the ability to change the coordinates directly so they appear correctly on Flukebook?

Thank you very much for your help!

Hi @rebeca

It sounds like you’re unsure whether the coordinates are correct based on the map location. Are they correct on the encounter? You can click the Edit button next to the Location section of the encounter page and scroll down until you see the entries for Latitude and Longitude.

Thank you very much for your answer, I saw that I made a mistake for the Longitude, I put the point just after the -6. instead of -61. , I wanted to change in the Edit but I can’t. How can I do ?
Thank you!

You click Edit, change your coordinates, then click the Update GPS button. Then you refresh the page and you should see your changes reflected.

When you say you can’t edit, is it because the Edit button is missing?

Thank you so much, I couldn’t click on the Update GPS button because there were some letters with numbers in the Latitude and Longitude values, but it’s good now!

Thank you for your reactivity!
