Exporting Coordinates and Dates of Resightings for QGIS

What Wildbook are you working in?
Zebra Wildbook

Is there a way to export the individual IDs, dates, and locations of zebras over the course of a set period of time? How do you go about exporting this values in a form that can then be used in QGIS?

Hi, @maggieliebich !

I believe that there is a way to export pretty much exactly what you’re asking for.
If you go to search → individual search → click “date filters” and select your start and end date ranges → click “search” → on the results page, click “Export” → click “SOCPROG excel” and you’ll get a file similar to this:

Note that latitude and longitude are mislabeled here (I’ve filed a low-priority ticket in the backlog for this bug as tracked internally WB-1774), but otherwise, I think this is what you’re looking for?

I have no idea how difficult this would be to wrangle into QGIS format, but I imagine/hope that that wouldn’t be too difficult?

Please let me know whether this resolves your issue?
Many thanks,
Mark
