Extracting GPS coordinates from a GPS enable camera

What Wildbook are you working in?
Zebra

What is the entire URL out of the browser, exactly where the error occurred?

Can you describe what the issue is you’re experiencing?
We have photos taken with a GPS enabled camera.
1, Is it possible to get the location where each individual was?
2, If I upload 200 photos in wildbook and I want to know how many unique individuals are in that group. How can I go about it without the matching and confirming process.

Can you provide steps on how to reproduce what you’re experiencing?

If this is a bulk import report, send the spreadsheet to services@wildme.org with the email subject line matching your bug report

Do you mean is it possible for Codex to use the image’s metadata to automatically populate the coordinates? If so, no but it sounds like a good candidate for a feature request.

Some users have used a tool called ExifTool to extract metadata from their images and put them in their bulk import spreadsheets. I’ve not used this tool, so I’m only sharing it as an example of what other users have shared as part of their workflow.

You can’t. Identifying unique individuals is the purpose of the matching process. AI isn’t perfect, so we rely on people to validate their matches to confirm individual identities and reduce the chance of misidentification.

Thank you for your feedback.
