Flukebook Bulk Upload Stuck at identification

If this is a bulk import report, send the spreadsheet to services@wildme.org with the email subject line matching your bug report

In which Wildbook did the issue occur? Flukebook

What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3) MacOS 26.3.1 (a)

What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79) Safari 26.3.1

What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc) Orgadmin

What happened? Bulk upload stuck at 49% in the Identification. And another one stuck at 52%.

What did you expect to happen? For the task to advance in % and eventually complete.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

Thanks for emailing your spreadsheets!

It looks like this species wasn’t correctly set up for detection and identification. We’ve corrected this and re-run both imports and they are now complete.

Also, there’s a known bug we’re working on where the progress percentage isn’t correctly reflecting the identification status. As long as the Class column shows the identification status as “complete”, then those encounters have completed identification.

Perfect, thank you!!

Hi Anastasia, I have uploaded about 15 or so hours ago another set of spreadsheets and pictures. And since then about the same time they have not changed in their state (percentage wise or in the class column).
I don’t know if this is another problem on the end of these spreadsheets as it contains the same species of previous upload and another beaked whale species. I will send the spreadsheets to the email again just in case with the links to each upload.

Thank you in advance!!

Thank you! We’ll need more time to work on these.
