Flukebook needing assistance

Hello,

Thankyou in advanced to anyone who can help me.

I am really having issues trying to use flukebook. I was troubleshooting and working my way through it last year but was having issues so gave it a little break. In particular I was having issues trying to make sure it would bring up the little green square to say photos had fins in them and then matching them. I would upload dolphins that I could easily ID myself and the system would say it has no matches.

However my most recent try I cant even seem to do the bulk uploads. When I try lots of the squares will come up red, and then when I try to fix them the whole excel spreadsheet doesnt work at all. I cant for the life of me work out why some excel spreadsheets work and why some get completely denied. Then once I do get one accepted on some rows it will accept my species then on the next row with the exact same data it comes up red.

I have watched all the youtube videos and read all info I can and just cant seem to master this system. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you had with your bulk import spreadsheet. Don’t worry; I also feel that our current bulk import process could be better and am loudly advocating for y’all to our devs to make it a priority to make it a better process this year.
