How To Delete Encounters (database access?)

What Wildbook are you working in?
Amphibian and Reptile Wildbook

What is the entire URL out of the browser, exactly where the error occurred?
https://amphibian-reptile.wildbook.org/encounters/searchResults.jsp?username=Micha%20Vardy

Can you describe what the issue is you’re experiencing?
I have created many test encounters with the same data which is sort of interfering with the matching process. I want to delete all of my tests and start again. is it possible to delete all Encounters with submitterID == “Micha Vardy”

Database Access
it would be nice if I had read and write access to the database,
is there such a thing?

Hi @sasa-salamander! Sorry for the delay on responding to this one.

Try clicking on one of your test encounters, then click on the Edit button next to the Metadata section. That should open up the editing window and you should see a big, red “Delete Encounter?” button beneath it. Currently, encounters can only be deleted one-by-one. Editing to add the link to our docs with this info for future reference: Encounter - Wild Me Documentation

Are you asking about read/write access to the database in reference to mass-deleting encounters? That’s not something we can grant Wildbook users from a security standpoint, but being able to delete multiple encounters at once is a valid feature request to submit if you haven’t already.
