Sorry if I have used the wrong form, how can I set an account so that people can see the seahorses and details but not edit?
We have some mbrs of the community who would like to see but not be admins and add encounters etc.

There isn’t currently a read-only role in Wildbook. Ideally, people without account would be able to see limited metadata for an encounter they have a direct link to.
We’ve been recently made aware that direct links to encounters may not be visible to anyone who isn’t logged in. I’ve made a ticket to track progress on that here: Viewing encounters in Wildbook 10.9.5 and later requires users to be signed in · Issue #1695 · WildMeOrg/Wildbook · GitHub
