What would you like to see?
An integrated solution for exporting data without the risk of timeouts (like here). An option that doesn’t seem overly complex to me (but I can be wrong) is to offer a “batch export,” which, for example, generates multiple Excel file in batches of 1,000 encounters (or 2,000 or 3,000, it doesn’t matter) downloaded one after another, with the entire contents of the Excel files corresponding to the data to be exported (the encounters in the search result).
Then, it’s easy for the user to merge the Excel files manually or with a macro.
How would this functionality help you?
Whiskerbook’s integrated data export feature is fantastic and essential, as the data is also processed in other software, backed up for security reasons, partially shared with other friendly organizations and more.
This proposal makes this existing feature more robust and ensures its continued functionality over time.
