I’ve been struggling with the detection phase in Wildbook Bulk Import for a while now. No matter what I try, I keep running into problems, and I haven’t been able to complete a full import successfully in a long time. When I submit the bulk import, the detection phase fails or doesn’t process the images as expected.
The today example:

It looks like an error occurred where detection says it couldn’t find any images, but that’s clearly not true. I’ll need a little more time to work on this.

But I submitted another bulk import today and we seem to have the same issue (any images couldn’t be found)

It looks like both imports have resolved on their own. Lynx is just very slowly processing detections. I looked up the second link you shared about 4 hours after your post and the encounters all had annotations by then.
But there were times when it was faster; lately, it’s been especially slow, hasn’t it?

We’ve not made any changes in Lynx Wildbook recently, so we’re not sure what could be causing WBIA to occasionally run slow. We’ve not observed this particular behavior before. Lynx will be upgraded to the latest Wildbook soon, though I don’t have an exact timeframe just yet. The upgrade should result in shorter waiting times.
