Manta Matcher sending out email stating new encounter is a whale

What happened?
I received an email with an encounter update from Manta Matcher but it says -

Just a quick e-mail to let you know that a whale that you sent us encounter data for has been seen again and positively identified. Follow the links below to learn more.

Previously identified whale: 02ad5696-0de6-4437-86a8-9b8832e325f6

What did you expect to happen?
It shouldn’t say whale, it should say manta.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?
I can forward the email if you need.
