What happened?
I am drawing a new annotation bounding box to add a manual annotation. When I am finished drawing the box, its position on the picture is changing, usually it’s “jumping” to the right.

What did you expect to happen?
The bounding box should stay at the position where I have been drawing it.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

Hi @Franziska.Leonhardt

This sounds like an issue that was previously only reported in Giraffespotter: Manual annotations don't stay where they're drawn · Issue #383 · WildMeOrg/Wildbook · GitHub

Do you have an example encounter you can link to so I can verify if this is the same bug?

Hi @Anastasia,

here is an example encounter for which I tried to manually draw a new annotation box.

You can see that it “jumped” to the right site and also enlarged. This only happens when I save the new annotation, before saving the annotation frame appears at the right position.

Thank you!

The fix for this will roll out as part of Wildbook 10.4.0.
