Can you describe what the issue is you’re experiencing?
matching takes a very long time
Can you provide steps on how to reproduce what you’re experiencing?
If this is a bulk import report, send the spreadsheet to services@wildme.org with the email subject line matching your bug report
HI @LauraSchulte
ARW has been more active than usual lately. There are currently 1300 jobs queued. Numbers like this mean that it will take longer for detections and matches to complete.
I checked your link and it looks like match results have already loaded.
Yes they do load but it is taking very long
As I said earlier, it’s normal that it will take a long time because of the volume of jobs being sent through ARW. This is one of the big reasons we want to move away from Hotspotter altogether. Miew ID returns detections and matches much faster by comparison and doesn’t create the same strain on the site.
As an admin, you can go to Administer > Data Integrity > Wildbook Machine Learning Queue Monitoring (slow load)
to see which users are contributing to the backlog and addressing it with them directly if one person is disproportionately sending higher amounts of jobs than usual.
ok thanks. Is there a schedule for Miew ID already?
I’ll talk to Jason about disabling MiewID for bulk import but having it available for manual matching.
The ARW queue is looking better today. I’ve verified that Hotspotter will no longer run on bulk imports for fire salamanders, but will still be able to be chosen as an option when manually starting matches on individual encounters.
