Thanks for confirming! Merging currently only works when you want to merge two unique individuals into one individual. For your example, I’d recommend using the Add Image to Encounter feature in the Gallery page of one of the encounters to upload the images of the other encounters you want to combine.
Then you can manually delete the remaining encounters of 6069 that are in the sighting (Click Edit button in Metadata section of the Encounter then click Delete Encounter? button).

These are old encounters (not mine) so I don’t have the photographs to reupload…
I will leave it like this until there will be a way to merge
