What happened?

When exporting data using the encounterSearchResults_export file, I observed that the Encounter.mediaAsset0 column no longer contains “__” and “-”, which makes it challenging to link the ACW result to the actual image file. For example, the initial value “S111__Station1__Camera1__CAM705328__2023-05-13__00-18-13__489__1.JPG” is exported as “S111Station1Camera1CAM705328202305130018134891.JPG.”

What did you expect to happen?

I expected the Encounter.mediaAsset0 column to retain the “__” and “-” as per the original format, making it easier to link to the actual image file during export.

What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue?

  1. Export data using the encounterSearchResults_export file.
  2. Check the values in the Encounter.mediaAsset0 column for missing “__” and “-”.

Hi @rhorion

This is likely because underscores (_) and hyphens (-) are considered special characters according to our bulk import docs and we’ve always recommended that users not include these characters in their bulk imports because they’re unsupported.
