What operating system were you using? (eg. MacOS 10.15.3) WIN 11
What web browser were you using? (eg. Chrome 79) Chrome latest
What is your role on the site? (admin, researcher, etc) Admin
What happened? Doing data integrity checks I cam across this
What did you expect to happen? It seems that all of the encounters on one media asset have been repeated three times
What are some steps we could take to reproduce the issue? No idea
Question is, can I treat each one as a separate cleanup step, some appear to have weird data in the Annotation page (see PDF link sent separately)
It looks like this particular photograph was manually uploaded to ACW 3 different times. The long list of IA tasks on the obrowse page corresponds with each annotation/ID job for every time it was uploaded (7 annotations for this photo times 7 ID jobs multiplied by 3 for each time it was uploaded, etc.)
We have seen this happen when users utilize Report an Encounter when not logged in and then cannot find the encounter… so they do it again, and apparently, again.
Ah, that makes sense. We do have an open feature request for a timeout warning when folks have been signed out of their accounts: Add a timeout pop-up - #6 by Anastasia
Feel free to keep an eye on that thread for updates.
