What happened?
Hi!
I’ve deleated all the encounters from a project, then added a new batch of photos to the same project. The ID for my first individual should be …-0000, but it countinues the counting from the old, deleated (but ID-ed) encounters: …-0008, …-0009 and so on.
I suspect this may be intentional, but let me verify with my teammates and I’ll get back to you.
I forgot to clarify: When you said that you deleted your encounters, did you also mean that you deleted all of the encounters associated with a Marked Individual?
If encounters still exist for a Marked Individual, their page and ID should still be unavailable to be re-used by another animal of the same species.
To be honest I’m not so sure, but I think, I’ve deleted all of them. Either way, I’ve created a new project and the ID-prefix starts from 0000.
I don’t want to take up any more of your time with this.
Thanks for the response! I appreciate it!
