Question about the "match scores"

Hi!
Regarding “Match score”, in Wild Me Documentation it is stated that “The match score represents the numeric value returned from the algorithm”. But what exactly are these numeric values? What do they represent: percentage, a score from 0 to 1, or 0 to 10? Or something else?

The help docs are vague in this area because the match scores can be interpreted differently depending on the algorithm and even between different trained instances of the same algorithm. I answered a similar question recently in this post: Fin whale encounter support - #10 by Anastasia

In general, it’s best to focus on the match ranking versus the scores themselves.
